"I tend to believe that life on Earth exists today because, at some stage, light
and laser energy of certain frequency (from the sun or sun bank) may have 'ignited'
DNA molecules, leading to matching of homologous bases, self-replication and formation
of proteins, and ultimately the creation of life on earth.
I have been using lasers
in my practice since 1996 and believe that laser therapy is the most revolutionary
treatment in the world."

Over the course of his medical career Dr. Joseph Georghy has been affiliated with
many of the best hospitals throughout Europe, an opportunity that has allowed him
to work closely with some of the best surgeons in the world and evaluate medical
therapies that have long been used successfully outside of North America.
Dr. Georghy continues to be dedicated to finding, refining and using the best medical
techniques and technologies in his own practice to address patients' medical and
aesthetic concerns. He currently focuses on cosmetic procedures, as he gets great
satisfaction from watching his patients regain their confidence in themselves, improving
their work and social lives after opting for cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Georghy also has broad experience in the operating room, having performed neuro-surgery,
chest and abdominal surgery, as well as biliary, gastric and colorectal surgery.
He has extensive training in orthopedics and thaumatology. Dr. Georghy has been
a specialist surgeon in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a general surgeon in Zagreb, Croatia.
He studied thromboembolic disease in London, and migrated to Sydney 1985. After
passing the Australian Medical Council Exam with high marks he worked as a surgeon
and then opened his own practice in 1991. Dr. Georghy is a Fellow of the Australasian
College of Cosmetic surgery.
Currently Dr. Georghy's primary medical interests are microvascular surgery, replantation
microsurgery and minimally invasive cosmetic surgical procedures such as scarless
facelifts, and scarless eyelifts.
Dr. Georghy has also had a great deal of experience using laser therapy. He has
been working with lasers with great success since 1993 for both wound healing and
cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Georghy has lectured on the use of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) which have
been successfully used in medical practices across Europe for over three decades.
Low level laser therapy involves using red and near infrared light to simulate cellular
function to boost healing and help physical systems return to normal. In his recent
presentation for the Asian Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Georghy pointed
out that the healing capabilities of light has been known since the dawn of mankind,
light optimizes cellular metabolism and provides a stimuli for normal metabolic
processes.
